Job summary

ABA Centers of America is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician (BT) to join our team in Salem, NH. The role requires availability Monday–Friday 3:00 PM–9:00 PM, with potential Saturdays 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. We offer paid training and a clear path for career advancement in ABA.

You will deliver ABA therapy, teach communication and daily living skills, and work under BCBA supervision, documenting progress and collaborating with families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Availability mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues depending on client needs.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Track progress and maintain quality.
• Collect, organize, and document session data accurately.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Required

• High school diploma or GED


• Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays


• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance

Preferred

• Experience in childcare, education, or related fields


• Experience working with children or adolescents


• Prior exposure to ABA services

Position-Specific Items

• Behavior Technician (BT):Complete a 40-hour paid training program over 2 consecutive weeks (at the same rate of pay), followed by precepting (hands-on supervision), and pass the RBT exam within 45 days (up to 3 weeks total)


• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT):Active certification in good standing; 1 week of paid training followed by precepting (hands-on supervision) (up to 2 weeks total)


• Training availability (BT / RBT):Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
