Job summary

Aurora Autism Centers is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Therapists on a part-time basis, with sessions Monday through Thursday from 3:30-6:00 PM in Montgomery and Bucks County. Responsibilities include delivering one-on-one ABA services in clinics, homes, and schools, learning from BCBA staff, and documenting progress.

We provide paid RBT training, mentorship, supervision for BCBA students, and a supportive scheduling team.

Qualifications

• Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapies.
• Experience in childcare or working with children preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; HS diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-to-one ABA services in clients' homes, schools and clinics.
• Learn from Board Certified Behavior Analysts to provide therapy to children and support families.
• Implement acquisition and behavior reduction plans created by BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, self-help and play skills via ABA principles.
• Record treatment data accurately and ensure client safety.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct; collaborate with Aurora team.

Aurora Autism Centers is a collaborative organization that provides quality services including ABA, Speech, and Occupational Therapy, to children diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum in clinics, homes, and schools.

Requirements:

Education:

• High School Diploma (Required)
• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Applied Behavior Analysis: 1 year (Preferred)
• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-to-one ABA therapeutic services to our clients in their homes, schools and in our clinics located in Montgomery and Bucks County.
• Learn directly from Board Certified Behavior Analysts how to provide therapy to children and support their family.
• Implement acquisition and behavior reduction plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
• Teach skills such as communication, social skills, self-help skills, and play skills through Applied Behavior Analysis principles.
• Teach, learn and play with our clients to help them reach their highest potential.
• Accurately record treatment data.
• Engage in and ensure client safety.
• Always maintain confidentiality of all clients as well as a professional conduct.
• Communicate and work collaboratively with the Aurora team.

Pay Rate:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Status

This opening is for part time afternoon/evening.

Aurora Autism Centers does offer full time positions that include additional incentives for employees, including PTO, holiday pay, sick time, weekly non-billable hours and health benefits. Full time status typically takes our employees 2-5 weeks from their start date to achieve.
