Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a compassionate Behavior Technician to deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities in California. The role offers a part-time schedule with paid training and opportunities for career advancement within a national organization.

Compensation ranges from $21 to $26 per hour, with a $150 startup bonus if trainings are completed on time and a $50 referral bonus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones using a mobile application.
• Implement goals and programs in the individualized Behavior Plan designed by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
• Provide behavior support services and crisis intervention.
• Follow instructions of the BCBA/Program supervisor.
