Job summary

Comprehensive Autism Center is seeking Behavior Therapists (BT) who will train to become Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT). The role supports children with autism across center-based and home-based services in Southern California, with paid RBT training and ongoing BCBA mentorship to drive positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, behaviorally-based therapy to children with autism in center-based and home-based settings.

• Participate in online and hands-on training with mentorship from BCBA supervisors.
• Use handheld technology for real-time data collection and progress tracking.
• Work part-time (up to 29 hours per week) with potential to transition to full-time.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIREMENTS

• A strong commitment to working with CAC and the families we serve.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Entry-level position with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Reliable transportation to commute to both center-based and home-based service locations.
• Clear background checks (Fingerprint and FBI/DOJ).
• Proof of TB clearance.
• Experience working with children (required).
