Join us as a Behavior Technician - Oakland at GOALS for Autism, Inc.

We are a founder-run, values-driven Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) company dedicated to helping children with autism and special needs. Behavior Techs work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior plans in clients' homes or community settings. Your role involves helping clients acquire communication, social, and life skills, reducing problem behaviors, and supporting families.

We are hiring across the East Bay, including Concord, Bay Point, Pittsburg, Antioch, Oakley, Discovery Bay, Oakland, and Hayward. Both part-time and full-time positions are available.

What a typical day looks like:
  • Traveling to clients' homes and community settings to deliver services
  • Working 1:1 with children and adolescents to implement behavioral plans
  • Involving families and caregivers in therapy sessions as per the treatment plan
  • Collecting detailed data and maintaining service notes
  • Receiving ongoing support and mentorship from GOALS supervisors

Minimum requirements:
  • Passion for helping children with special needs and patience
  • Reliability, organization, and attention to detail
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain a negative TB test
  • Reliable transportation (public or private)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (college credits, Associates, or Bachelors preferred)
  • Childcare or special needs experience preferred
  • COVID-19 vaccination status or approved exemption required
