Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is a national behavioral health organization providing ABA services for children from birth to 21. We are hiring Behavior Technicians to join our growing team for 1-1 treatment in home-based settings, with hybrid shifts in Walworth and Pittsford centers.

Flexible part-time/evening hours and paid training are offered. BTs will work with BCBA-defined plans, collect progress data, and support families in implementing treatment plans.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience with children preferred.
  • Experience with behavioral challenges or special needs preferred.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to commute to locations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality under HIPAA and company policies.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately.
  • Willingness to perform physically active duties with children.

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA.
  • Collect data to monitor progress and report results of the treatment plan.
  • Support BCBA with training families on implementing treatment plans.
  • Be responsive to clients, families, and supervisors.
  • Maintain clear lines of communication with families and supervisors.
  • Physically keep up with clients during sessions (moving, lifting up to 25+ pounds).
  • Other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA.

Hybrid (Home & Center based): Tuesday/Thursday 4pm-6:30pm (Walworth) Friday 4:30pm-7pm & Saturday 1pm-4pm (Pittsford Center)

Proud Moments ABA is a national behavioral health organization, providing the gold standard of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children on the autism spectrum from birth to age 21. We are looking for Behavior Technicians (BT's) to join our growing team. Our BT's are an essential part of the treatment team- providing 1-1 specialized treatment in partnership with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts to our clients in a home-based setting.If you are looking for a career that allows you to provide life changing treatment to children this could be the role for you - if you have the passion we have the training!

Responsibilities
  • Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan and report progress
  • Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors
  • Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties
  • Physically keep up with clients as they move about the session area(s). This will require many physical activities including, but not limited to, standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, kneeling, and generally keeping pace with children from 2-15 years old
  • Any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Prior experience working with children preferred
  • Prior experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred
  • Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred, though comprehensive training will be provided
  • Reliable personal transportation with the ability to commute consistently to assigned work locations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules or priorities
  • $19-22 an hour
