Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is seeking Behavior Technicians (BTs) for home-based, one-on-one sessions with children on the autism spectrum. You will implement plans created by BCBAs, collect progress data, and train families in applying treatment strategies.

The role offers flexible part-time evening/afternoon hours, paid training, and a supportive team environment. Ideal candidates have a passion for working with children, strong communication, and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience working with children preferred.
• Experience with children or adults with behavioral challenges or special needs preferred.
• Exposure to ASD or other developmental disabilities is preferred, training provided.
• Reliable transportation to commute to locations.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and policies.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication; follow detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress of the treatment plan and report progress.
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing plans.
• Be responsive to needs of clients and families and supervisors.
• Maintain clear communication with families, supervisors, and applicable parties.
• Physically engage with children 2-15 years old during sessions and assist as needed.

Proud Moments ABA is a national behavioral health organization, providing the gold standard of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children on the autism spectrum from birth to age 21. We are looking for Behavior Technicians (BT's) to join our growing team. Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan and report progress
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans
• Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties
• Physically keep up with clients as they move about the session area(s). This will require many physical activities including, but not limited to, standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, kneeling, and generally keeping pace with children from 2-15 years old
• Any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior experience working with children preferred
• Prior experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred
• Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred, though comprehensive training will be provided
• Reliable personal transportation with the ability to commute consistently to assigned work locations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules or priorities
• $19-22 an hour
