Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is seeking Behavior Technicians to support clients in home-based ABA sessions under supervision of BCBAs. You will implement treatment plans, collect progress data, and train families to use individualized strategies.

This role offers flexible part-time evening/afternoon hours, paid training, and a supportive team environment, with competitive compensation and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience working with children preferred.
  • Prior experience with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred.
  • Exposure to ASD or other developmental disabilities is preferred, though comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Reliable transportation to commute to assigned locations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality (HIPAA) and company policies.
  • Strong multitasking in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • Clear verbal and written communication with ability to follow detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA.
  • Collect data to monitor progress and report on treatment effectiveness.
  • Support BCBA with training families on implementing treatment plans.
  • Be responsive to clients, families, and supervisors.
  • Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors and applicable parties.
  • Physically assist with activities during sessions (e.g., movement, lifting 25+ pounds) to keep pace with children aged 2–15.
  • Any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA.

Proud Moments ABA is a national behavioral health organization, providing the gold standard of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children on the autism spectrum from birth to age 21. We are looking for Behavior Technicians (BT's) to join our growing team. Our BT's are an essential part of the treatment team- providing 1-1 specialized treatment in partnership with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts to our clients in a home-based setting.If you are looking for a career that allows you to provide life changing treatment to children this could be the role for you - if you have the passion we have the training!

  • SCHEDULE - Monday-Friday 330-730 or 4-8
Responsibilities
  • Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan and report progress
  • Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors
  • Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties
  • Physically keep up with clients as they move about the session area(s). This will require many physical activities including, but not limited to, standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, kneeling, and generally keeping pace with children from 2-15 years old
  • Any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA
  • Comp $20-$30 per hour

  • Prior experience working with children preferred
  • Prior experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred
  • Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred, though comprehensive training will be provided
  • Reliable personal transportation with the ability to commute consistently to assigned work locations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules or priorities
