Job summary

Balance Autism in Waterloo, IA is seeking a Behavior Technician to help children with autism learn new skills through data-driven therapy. You will work directly with children, develop and execute treatment plans, and monitor progress as part of a collaborative team.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, with a base pay of $18.75 per hour. A bachelor’s degree or eligibility for RBT certification within 6 weeks is required, along with a valid driver’s license and background checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or the ability to obtain the Register Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification within 6 weeks of hire
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance (for most positions)
• Pass pre‑employment motor vehicle report and criminal background checks

Responsibilities

• Work directly with children

• Work closely with a team and report regularly to your supervisor
