Behavior Technician - Center Based - New Hyde Park

Details about this opportunity:

Location: New Hyde Park, NY
Center-Based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist/Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT)
Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am-3:30pm
Compensation: $18-24/hourly

Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held. In addition, the position posted may be either full-time or fee-for-service (FFS), depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview. This arrangement can vary and is subject to change.

Responsibilities:

1. Work collaboratively with Clinical Supervisors to implement principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy.
2. Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions.
3. Acquire and maintain RBT credential in accordance with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) within the first 90 days of employment.
4. Use Central Reach platform for data collection and graphing.
5. Implement Behavior Support Plans and Behavior Intervention Plans as directed.
6. Effectively manage learners including physical crisis intervention protocols, while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
7. Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
