Job summary

First Steps Developmental Services is seeking compassionate Behavior Technicians for a part-time, in-person role serving young children and families in a hybrid setting. The position includes center-based sessions for children under six, school-based activities, and home sessions with caregivers, with supervision from BCBA teams.

RBT certification is welcomed and support toward certification may be available.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or pursuit in psychology/education.
  • Experience with children is a plus.
  • Reliable transportation for home sessions and flexibility.”

Job description

First Steps Developmental Services is seeking compassionate and dependable Behavior Technicians to provide ABA services to young children and families in a part‑time capacity.

This hybrid role includes center based services for children under six as well as school based and home based sessions with caregivers public school based children. Technicians who enjoy both structured teaching and natural family support tend to thrive in this position.

We are building a team culture rooted in mentorship, collaboration, and high quality care for every child we serve. Registered Behavior Technicians are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in the center and in client homes
  • Implement individualized treatment plans designed by a BCBA
  • Teach communication, social, play, and daily living skills
  • Collect session data and notes
  • Partner with families in a respectful and supportive manner

Participate in supervision and team meetings

Schedule

Part time and mornings, afternoon and late afternoon hours available.
