Verbal Beginnings is a leading ABA therapy provider serving children with autism. We offer extensive training and support to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and even provide student loan assistance with BCBA supervision hours.

Positions are typically 3–5 days per week, 2–3 hours after school, with sessions at the child’s home, community, or school. Compensation ranges from $23 to $29 per hour depending on experience and certifications, with strong benefits for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Patience, compassion and the desire to help children with autism achieve their goals.
• Genuine desire to learn about Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with others.
• High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree (completed or in progress) preferred.
• Experience working with children.
• Must have valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• All ABA Technicians will be required to complete or provide proof of completion of the 40-Hour RBT course. Verbal Beginnings will provide the course to those who need to complete it.

Responsibilities

• ABA Technicians work under the direct supervision of a BCBA to implement individualized treatment plans.
• Address communication, behavior, feeding, ADLs, and social skills as part of the treatment plan.
• Collect and record data to monitor progress and update plans with the clinical supervisor.

Schedule, Location and Compensation:

• When: Sessions typically occur 3-5 days per week for 2-3 hours, most often during after school hours between 3pm-8pm
• Where: Sessions typically occur in the child’s natural environment (in the child’s home, community, and/or school).
• Compensation: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications
