Job summary

Ascend Autism seeks a center-based Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to serve children ages 2–7 with autism in a collaborative clinical setting.

You will provide 1:1 ABA therapy, implement treatment plans, collect data, and support developmental goals while working with BCBA supervision. The role offers Monday–Friday schedules, $20–$27/hour, and opportunities for raises based on performance. Training and certification support included.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to obtain RBT Certification is required.
• Genuine interest in working actively and playfully with young children.
• Reliable transportation to and from the center is required.

Responsibilities

• Providing center-based 1:1 ABA therapy to children.
• Implementing treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies.
• Maintaining accurate documentation, data collection, and reporting.
• Teaching life skills and supporting children’s development.
• Participating in team meetings, training, and professional development.
• Ensuring compliance with BACB and company standards.

The Role:

This is a center-based Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) role serving children with an age range of 2-7 years, focused on early intervention, social development, and school readiness.

You'll work in a collaborative clinical environment that primarily focuses on:

• Center-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy


• Communication, social, and daily living skills


• Natural environment and play-based learning


• In-person BCBA support and supervision

What You'll Be Doing:

Physical Requirements:

• Sit, stand, and kneel on the floor throughout the day


• Lift upto 45 pounds at a time


• Able to safely respond to physically demanding behaviors per protocol


• Ability to be attentive and focused in a busy environment
