Job summary

Dragonfly Cares seeks compassionate BTs/RBTs to provide after-school 1:1 ABA services in a center and in-home setting across Long Island. Immediate opening with onboarding and ongoing supervision from BCBA professionals.

If not RBT-certified, you can pursue certification after placement, with online courses and guidance provided. You’ll deliver ABA therapy, collect data, build strong relationships with children and families, and maintain compliant documentation in a supportive, mission-driven

Qualifications

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is REQUIRED.
• Comfortable working in both center and in-home settings.
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field preferred.
• Experience with children, especially autism or developmental delays, a plus.
• Excellent communication, patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others.
• Reliable transportation to the center and clients' homes.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Dragonfly Cares is seeking compassionate, reliable Behavior Technicians/Registered Behavior Technicians (BTs/RBT) to provide after-school 1:1 ABA services. You'll help children build communication, social, behavioral, and daily-living skills in a positive, engaging environment.

This role is a great fit for patient, energetic people looking to make a real impact, including students, recent graduates, and those starting out in behavioral health. We provide full onboarding and training, along with ongoing support and supervision from our experienced BCBAs.

If you do not hold the Registered Behavior Technician Certification through the BACB Board. You will be required to become an RBT if placed on an insurance case, within 30 days of placement. We offer online courses, along with guidance every step of the way.

You will be paid a $700 bonus for completing the RBT course and being certified after you have worked 120 days as an RBT and are working on average 10-15 hours per week.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Participate in supervision and ongoing trainings to grow your clinical skills
