ABA Centers of Virginia in Fairfax/Tysons, VA is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). The role involves delivering ABA therapy in various settings, teaching essential skills, and coordinating with BCBA supervision.

Training is provided, with opportunities for certification and career growth within the ABA Centers network. Required availability includes weekday evenings and some weekend hours.

• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
• Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed.

*Required availability: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM; Saturdays and/or Sundays, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

RBT: Starting rate of $22.25 per hour

*Final compensation determined by experience, training, and education.

*** Referral Bonus $500 for a RBT

***Referral Bonus $5,000 for a BCBA

What You’ll Do

Direct Client Support

• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues depending on client needs
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision
• Track Progress & Maintain Quality
• Collect, organize, and document session data accurately

Collaborate & Communicate

• Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families
• Participating in team meetings and ongoing training

Support Operations

• Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

Required

• High school diploma or GED
• Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review

Preferred

• Experience in childcare, education, or related fields
• Experience working with children or adolescents
• Prior exposure to ABA services

Position-Specific Items

• Behavior Technician (BT): Complete a 40-hour paid training program over 2 consecutive weeks (at the same rate of pay), followed by precepting (hands‑on supervision), and pass the RBT exam within 45 days (up to 3 weeks total)
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Active certification in good standing; 1 week of paid training followed by precepting (hands‑on supervision) (up to 2 weeks total)
• Part Time Training Available
