Job summary

ABA Centers of Georgia in Douglasville, GA is seeking a Part-Time Behavior Technician to deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues under supervision.

Starting pay is $22.25/hour for BT and $24.60/hour for RBT with paid training, a 40-hour program, and opportunities for advancement through our Level Up program and scholarship options. Must be available Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM and pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles).
• Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review.
• Experience in childcare, education, or related fields preferred.
• Experience working with children or adolescents preferred.
• Prior exposure to ABA services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues depending on client needs.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Track progress and maintain quality.
• Collect, organize, and document session data accurately.

What You'll Do

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Required

• High school diploma or GED
• 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles)

Position-Specific Items

• Behavior Technician (BT): Complete a 40-hour paid training program over 2 consecutive weeks (at the same rate of pay), followed by precepting (hands-on supervision), and pass the RBT exam within 45 days (up to 3 weeks total)
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Active certification in good standing; 1 week of paid training followed by precepting (hands-on supervision) (up to 2 weeks total)
• Training availability (BT / RBT): Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
