Job summary

ABA Centers of Pennsylvania, LLC is hiring Behavior Technicians (BT) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) in Allentown, PA. Starting pay: BT $22.25/hour, RBT $24.60/hour, plus a $500 sign-on bonus. Final compensation is determined by experience, training, and education.

Paid training and mentorship support career advancement through our ABA Academy. Grow with one of the nation's fastest-moving ABA providers as you deliver in-home, school, and community therapy under BCBA supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience (internships/related roles accepted).
• Availability mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license/insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics or other venues as needed.
• Track progress, maintain data accuracy and collaborate with families and BCBAs.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.

What You'll Do

Direct Client Support

• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues depending on client needs
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Required

• High school diploma or GED
• 6+ months of relevant experience (including internships or related roles)
• Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review

Preferred

• Experience in childcare, education, or related fields
• Experience working with children or adolescents
• Prior exposure to ABA services

Position-Specific Items

• Behavior Technician (BT): Complete a 40-hour paid training program over 2 consecutive weeks (at the same rate of pay), followed by precepting (hands‑on supervision), and pass the RBT exam within 45 days (up to 3 weeks total)
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Active certification in good standing; 1 week of paid training followed by precepting (hands‑on supervision) (up to 2 weeks total)
• Training availability (BT / RBT): Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
