Job summary

ABA Centers of America is seeking a Behavior Technician to deliver ABA therapy in various settings and support families with individualized treatment under BCBA supervision.

We offer paid training, mentorship, and a clear path toward RBT certification, with a 40-hour paid training program and ongoing supervision.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues as needed.
  • Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
  • Track progress and maintain quality; document session data.
  • Collaborate with BCBAs, team members, and families; participate in meetings and trainings.
  • Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks.

Starting rate of $22.25/hour for BTs

Starting rate of $24.60/hour for RBTs

What You’ll Do
Direct Client Support
  • Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues depending on client needs
  • Teach communication, social, and daily living skills
  • Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision
  • Track Progress & Maintain Quality
  • Collect, organize, and document session data accurately
Collaborate & Communicate
  • Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families
  • Participating in team meetings and ongoing training
Support Operations
  • Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
Required
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance
  • Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review
Preferred
  • Experience in childcare, education, or related fields
  • Experience working with children or adolescents
  • Prior exposure to ABA services
Position-Specific Items
  • Behavior Technician (BT): Complete a 40-hour paid training program over 2 consecutive weeks (at the same rate of pay), followed by precepting (hands‑on supervision), and pass the RBT exam within 45 days (up to 3 weeks total)
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Active certification in good standing; 1 week of paid training followed by precepting (hands‑on supervision) (up to 2 weeks total)
  • Training availability (BT / RBT): Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
