Job summary

ABA Centers of America in Gallatin, TN is seeking a Behavior Technician (BT) to join our growing ABA team. This full-time position offers a competitive starting pay and paid training, with clear paths to RBT certification and BCBA mentorship.

You will deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, and clinics, support families, and contribute to data collection and progress tracking under supervision. We provide extensive training and strong career advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues depending on client needs.

• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Track Progress & Maintain Quality.
• Collect, organize, and document session data accurately.
• Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
• Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed.

RBT: Starting rate of $21.40 per hour.

BT: Starting rate of $19.35 per hour.

What You’ll Do

Direct Client Support

• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other venues depending on client needs
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills

• Collect, organize, and document session data accurately

Collaborate & Communicate

• Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families
• Participating in team meetings and ongoing training

Support Operations

• Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

Required

• High school diploma or GED
• Availability during mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review

Preferred

• Experience in childcare, education, or related fields
• Experience working with children or adolescents
• Prior exposure to ABA services

Position-Specific Items

• Behavior Technician (BT): Complete a 40-hour paid training program over 2 consecutive weeks (at the same rate of pay), followed by precepting (hands-on supervision), and pass the RBT exam within 45 days (up to 3 weeks total)
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Active certification in good standing; 1 week of paid training followed by precepting (hands-on supervision) (up to 2 weeks total)
• Training availability (BT / RBT): Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
