Job summary

VERBAL BEHAVIOR TEAM LLC is seeking a compassionate Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Under a BCBA, you will provide one-to-one ABA therapy in home, school, clinic, or community settings, aligning with trauma-informed, client-centered care principles.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, with preferred coursework in psychology or related fields, and a willingness to travel to client locations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • College coursework or degree in Psychology, Education, Behavior Analysis, Human Development (preferred).
  • Experience with children/adults with developmental differences (preferred).
  • Commitment to trauma-informed, respectful, client-centered care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to receive feedback from BCBA and implement guidance.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations (required).

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
  • Provide one-to-one ABA therapy in home, school, clinic, or community settings.
  • Build positive relationships with clients through respectful interactions.
  • Collect accurate data on client progress and behavior.
  • Communicate progress and needs with the BCBA.
  • Support skill development in communication, social, daily living, and self-advocacy.
  • Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, and professional conduct.
  • Participate in ongoing training and team collaboration.

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, thoughtful Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who aligns with our mission and values. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the Behavior Technician provides one-to-one ABA therapy using trauma-informed, client-centered practices. This role is ideal for individuals who believe in respecting neurodiversity, empowering clients, and making a real difference in their communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans developed by the supervising BCBA

  • Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team collaboration
