Job summary

HireCare Services is seeking compassionate Behavior Technicians (BTs) to provide in-home ABA therapy for children with autism and other developmental disabilities in Hickory, NC and surrounding areas. The role offers part-time or full-time scheduling, supervision by a BCBA, and meaningful, child-centered support.

• Active RBT certification — or willingness to obtain certification (training support provided).
• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred).
• Strong communication, patience, and professionalism.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Responsibilities

HireCare Services is seeking compassionate and motivated Behavior Technicians (BTs) to provide high-quality behavioral support to individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. What You'll Do as an RBT:

As a Behavior Technician, you'll provide 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your work helps children reach important developmental goals through structured teaching, play, and positive reinforcement.

You will:

• Deliver individualized ABA treatment plans created by your supervising BCBA
• Support children in developing communication, social, and daily living skills
• Collect accurate data during each session
• Share updates and progress with your BCBA team
• Complete clear and timely session notes
• Build warm, supportive relationships with children and families
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards

What We're Looking For:

Work Schedule:

• Part-time and full-time positions available
• Afternoon and after-school sessions (Monday-Friday; optional weekend availability as needed)
• 15-25+ hours per week, based on your availability and client needs

Compensation:

• $21-$25 per hour
