Job summary

HireCare Services is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians (BTs) to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy in Franklin, VA and surrounding communities. The role involves working under a BCBA supervision to support children with autism and related developmental needs.

Candidates may have active RBT certification or pursue it with our training support; we offer flexible full-time and part-time hours, ongoing professional development, and opportunities for advancement

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel to client sessions within the service area.
• Ability to pass required background screenings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans developed by your supervising BCBA.
• Provide direct behavioral therapy services in home and community settings.
• Support clients in developing communication, social, play, and daily living skills.
• Utilize evidence-based ABA strategies and positive reinforcement techniques.
• Collect and record accurate session data.
• Complete session notes and required documentation in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with supervising clinicians regarding client progress.
• Build positive and professional relationships with clients and caregivers.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional standards.

What You'll Do

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Technician (BT), you'll provide 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Training Opportunities

Candidates without an active RBT certification are encouraged to apply. Training and support may be available for qualified applicants interested in becoming a Registered Behavior Technician.

Schedule

• Full-Time and Part-Time positions available

• Afternoon and after-school hours available

• Monday-Friday schedules

• Optional weekend opportunities based on client needs

• 15-30+ hours per week depending on availability and case assignment

Preferred Availability

• Monday-Friday afternoon and evening availability preferred

• Consistent weekly schedule encouraged

• Ability to commit to ongoing client sessions

Service Area

Cases are assigned based on client needs and technician availability throughout Franklin, VA and nearby communities.

Compensation

$23.00 - $30.00 per hour

Compensation is based on certification status, experience, availability, and case assignment.
