NeurAbilitiesHealthcare seeks a Per Diem Behavior Technician (BHT) in Seaport, PA to work one-to-one with kids, implement ABA under BCBA supervision, and help families achieve meaningful progress.

The role offers paid training, appointment-based scheduling, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities toward RBT/BCBA paths. Travel between service locations is required; a reliable vehicle is necessary.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of experience with children and adolescents with Autism or other developmental disabilities.
• Strong communications skills and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
• Regular access to a reliable motor vehicle due to location requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work one-to-one with clients in clinic, home, and/or school setting, implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) under the supervision of a BCBA to create meaningful change.
• Work per-diem, appointment-based schedules.
• Assist clients in improving communication, social, and independent living skills.
• Collaborate with family, caregivers, and treatment teams to deliver effective support.
• Follow treatment plan and educate others about ABA interventions.
• Collect and maintain data, manage client program materials, and foster therapeutic relationships.

As a Per Diem Behavior Technician (BHT), you will:

Position Qualifications for a Behavior Technician (BHT):

• Preferred: 6 months of experience with children and adolescents with Autism or other developmental disabilities.

• Strong communicationskills and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.

• Due to the location and operational requirements of this position, employees assigned to this worksite must have regular access to a reliable motor vehicle during their scheduled work hours.

Working Conditions:

• Local travel (20% estimated) during business hours (8 AM - 6 PM).

• Ability tolift upto 50 lbs. and perform physical activities like walking and bending.
