Kyo-Autism-Therapy,-LLC is seeking a Behavior Therapist to support children with autism through play-based ABA therapy. This role involves working at multiple location sites in the Portland area with weekday afternoon availability (3-7pm) and travel between sites as needed.

Responsibilities include implementing evidence-based strategies, collecting progress data, and collaborating with families and the clinical team to ensure consistent, high-quality therapy.

Competenze

• Experience working with children.
• Willingness to obtain RBT certification or applicable state licensure.
• Availability for weekday afternoons (3-7pm).
• Reliable transportation with valid license and insurance; travel between locations ~45 minutes.
• Basic computer skills; smartphone access.
• Background check including DOJ/FBI fingerprinting.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay Range (Portland) : $21.00 - $24.50

Pay Range (South of Wilsonville): $18.00 - $21.50

• Collect data to track each child’s progress and partner with caregivers and your clinical team to deliver consistent, high-quality support.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience: Prior experience working with children while demonstrating a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
• Education: High school diploma and willingness to obtain & maintain Registered Behavior Technician certification or applicable state licensure.
• Availability: Weekday afternoon availability required (3-7pm).
• Transportation: Reliable vehicle with valid in-state driver’s license and insurance. Willingness to travel approximately 45 minutes between work locations, with paid drive time.
• Technology Skills: Basic computer skills, including experience using a tablet and ability to navigate various online platforms. Access to a smartphone is a requirement of this position.
• Background Check: Ability to pass DOJ/FBI background check including fingerprinting and TB test (if applicable).
• Physical Ability: The job involves extensive standing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, and crouching. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Ability to communicate clearly and participate in physical and play-based therapies.
