Job summary

SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care, affiliated with BrightSpring Health Services, seeks a part-time Behavior Technician in its Springfield, IL clinic. The role delivers ABA-driven 1:1 therapy with youth in home/community settings, under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

The ideal candidate has two+ years of relevant experience; a Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience with developmental disabilities or behaviorally challenged populations.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Flexibility with client scheduling and treatment needs.
• Registered Behavioral Technician Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA-driven programs for youth with developmental disabilities in homes or community settings.
• Provide 1:1 therapy to individuals in home/community settings.
• Implement treatment goals under supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide progress feedback to supervisor.
• Support teaching of communication, self-help, social skills, and other targeted goals.
• Track client progress and program data.
• Adhere to company policies and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Implement Applied Behavior Analysis driven programs for youth with developmental disabilities in their homes and/or a community environment
• Provide 1:1 therapy to individuals with a developmental disability in a home or community setting
• Implement treatment goals under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst
• Provide adequate feedback regarding progress to supervisor
• Facilitate teaching of communication, self-help, social-skills, and other targeted treatment goals
• Track client progress and program data
• Understands and adheres toCompanyPolicy and Procedures
• Observes confidentiality and safeguards all patient-related information

Qualifications

• Registered Behavioral Technician Certification, preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
• Two or more years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behaviorally challenged population
• Valid Driver’s License
• Reliable transportation and insurance
• Flexibility with client scheduling and treatment needs
• Strong ability to use problem solving and critical thinking skills at all times
