Job summary

The Learning Lane in Spring, TX, is seeking a Behavior Technician to support preschool children with Autism. You will implement behavioral goals, document progress, and collaborate with a skilled team to create a safe, engaging learning environment.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 40 hours per week, with paid training and opportunities to advance toward RBT certification. Starting pay is $16/hour for RBT holders or $14/hour without, plus a company-supported pathway to certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 6 months working in a classroom or structured educational setting.
• Minimum 6 months working with preschool-aged children with Autism or other developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans and behavioral goals.
• Support group instructional activities and daily classroom routines.
• Collect and document behavioral and developmental data accurately.
• Assist with tracking child progress and preparing reports.
• Maintain organized materials and therapy environments.
• Collaborate with team members regarding child progress and daily activities.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and staff development activities.
• Support newly hired Behavior Technicians through mentoring and collaboration.
• Maintain compliance with insurance, ethical, and company standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and engaging therapy environment.
• Monitor and report suspected child abuse or safety concerns immediately.
• Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, accountability, and integrity in all interactions.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Minimum of 6 months working in a classroom or structured educational setting

• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
• Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English, as training modules, data collection systems, and insurance documentation are completed in English
