Job summary

Little Moonlight Daycare, based in the New York area, seeks an RBT ABA Therapist to deliver evidence-based behavioral therapy for children with developmental disabilities, including autism. You will implement individualized plans, collect data, and collaborate with families while upholding strict HIPAA standards.

This part-time role focuses on ADL support and skill development in a supportive team; starting immediately with comprehensive training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, individuals with autism, or those with neurodevelopmental disabilities in clinical or home-based settings.
• Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management, and behavior therapy techniques.
• Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior management strategies effectively.
• Proficiency in data collection methods, medical terminology, and maintaining accurate medical records.
• Excellent client communication skills to foster trust and engagement with clients and their families.
• Familiarity with special education environments, school experience, or home-based behavioral programs is a plus.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance, medical documentation standards, and ethical guidelines for behavior analysts.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA therapy protocols tailored to each client's unique needs, ensuring consistency and fidelity to treatment plans.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting independence and skill development.
• Collect, record, and analyze behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments.
• Support clients in developing communication, social, and behavioral skills through structured teaching methods.
• Maintain detailed medical documentation, care plans, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients' families and care teams to update on progress and address concerns.
• Adhere strictly to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts while delivering high-quality behavioral health services.
