Kona Medical Consulting is currently looking for Behavior Technician in Dearborn, MI area (in-home or a mutually agreed location).

The position will be under the Pediatric Behaviour Solutions, this is also open to all practicum students.

Below Are The Details Of The Position

We are seeking a compassionate, creative, and enthusiastic Behavior Therapist for an 8-year-old boy who is full of curiosity and potential. He has diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, and anxiety, and has experienced school-related trauma that has impacted his self-esteem. Despite these challenges, he is incredibly bright, curious, and eager to learn—especially when it comes to science, social studies, and topics like the Titanic, architecture, and design.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who can:

Use positive reinforcement and praise-based strategies
Support emotional well-being and learning differences
Create engaging, low-pressure learning opportunities in reading, math, and writing
Help reignite confidence and a love of learning
Be a positive role model and nurturing presence

All necessary materials and suggested topics of focus will be provided—you’ll be supported every step of the way.
