Centria Autism is hiring a Behavior Technician in Kirby, Texas. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized intervention plans under a BCBA's guidance.
Training is provided, and the role emphasizes teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors. The position requires compassion, teamwork, and physical ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. In this role, you will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. The position requires being patient, compassionate, a team player, and physically able to perform tasks such as standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, lifting, and carrying children or objects up to 50 pounds.
We provide comprehensive training so you can succeed even if you work with children with autism for the first time. At the end of each day, you will know that you have made a meaningful impact on the life of a child and their family.
$18 - $25 per hour
