Job summary

SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, provides high-quality behavioral services. The Behavior Technician delivers 1:1 therapy in home or community settings under BCBA supervision, helping clients improve communication, self-help, and social skills.

This part-time role offers Monday–Friday 3pm–5pm, with pay from $18.00 to $25.00 per hour, and health insurance benefits for qualified part-time staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, plus six months of relevant work/volunteer experience in healthcare settings.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation; able to travel to multiple assignments daily.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 behavioral therapy in home or community settings.
• Implement treatment goals under supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide feedback on client progress to supervisor.
• Facilitate teaching of communication, self-help, social-skills, and other goals.
• Track client progress and program data.
• Follow company policies and procedures; maintain confidentiality.
• Coordinate work with management and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 treatment to individuals in need of behavioral therapy in a home or community setting
• Implement treatment goals under the supervision of a BCBA
• Provide adequate feedback regarding progress to supervisor
• Facilitate teaching of communication, self-help, social-skills, and other targeted treatment goals
• Track client progress and program data
• Understands and adheres to company's policy and procedures
• Observes confidentiality and safeguards all patient-related information
• Work effectively as a team contributor on all interactions and assignments
• Work independently while understanding the importance of constant communication and coordinating work efforts with management and staff
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma, plus a minimum of six months prior work/volunteer experience providing individual instructions, preferably in a health care environment
• Demonstrates effective and professional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Able to work independently and part of a team
• Demonstrates strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Has reliable transportation and is able to travel to/from multiple assignments/locations on a daily basis
