Job summary

Beachmont Behavioral Health is seeking an Entry Level Behavior Technician (BT) to provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in supportive settings. You will work with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, implementing behavior plans and supporting skill development.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• As a Behavior Technician, you will provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in our center, a clients in home, school, and or community settings.
• We support ages 2yrs old through adulthood.
• Under the supervision of a BCBA, you will:
• Implement individualized behavior and skill-building programs
• Collect and record data during sessions
• Support clients in developing communication, social, and daily living skills
• Communicate effectively with caregivers and supervisors
• Follow behavior plans with consistency and professionalism
• Promote client safety, dignity, and independence

What We’re Looking For

Required

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
• Ability to pass background check and TB clearance

Preferred

• Experience with children or individuals with disabilities
• ABA or Behavioral Health experience
• RBT certification
• Coursework in psychology, education, or a related field
• Bilingual (Spanish/English)

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Sessions take place in homes, schools, and community settings
• Active role requiring sitting, standing, kneeling, and floor play
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
• Local travel required

Performance Expectations

• Maintain 95%+ data accuracy and timely submission
• Achieve 90%+ session attendance and punctuality
• Participate in ongoing training and supervision
• Support measurable client progress
