Job summary

Kyo, a leading ABA therapy provider in Colorado, seeks a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our Denver-area team. You will deliver play-based ABA therapy, collect data, and work with families and our clinical staff to achieve meaningful outcomes for children with autism.

Weekday afternoon availability (3–7pm) is preferred. We offer paid ABA training, mentorship, licensure support, and competitive pay with sign-on bonuses. Join us to grow professionally and positively impact families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and willingness to obtain & maintain Registered Behavior Technician certification or applicable state licensure.
• Availability: Weekday afternoon availability 3-7pm.
• Transportation: Reliable vehicle with in-state driver's license and insurance; willing to travel between locations (approx. 45 minutes).
• Technology: Basic computer skills, tablet use, smartphone required; background check and TB test as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver play-based ABA therapy to children in home, school, and community settings.
• Collect data and collaborate with caregivers and clinical team to monitor progress and ensure consistency.

Compensation

• Pay Range: $23.50 - $27.00
• $2000 sign-on bonus for RBTs available
• $1000 sign-on bonus for completed RBT 40-hour certification prior to start date

Responsibilities

• Use play-based ABA therapy to help children with autism achieve meaningful goals at home, in school, and in the community – grounded in evidence-based practices.
• Collect data to track each child’s progress and partner with caregivers and your clinical team to deliver consistent, high-quality support.

Job Requirements

• Experience: Prior experience working with children while demonstrating a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
• Education: High school diploma and willingness to obtain & maintain Registered Behavior Technician certification or applicable state licensure.
• Availability: Weekday afternoon availability required (3-7pm).
• Transportation: Reliable vehicle with valid in-state driver’s license and insurance. Willingness to travel approximately 45 minutes between work locations, with paid drive time.
• Technology Skills: Basic computer skills, including experience using a tablet and ability to navigate various online platforms. Access to a smartphone is a requirement of this position.
• Background Check: Ability to pass DOJ/FBI background check including fingerprinting and TB test (if applicable).
• Physical Ability: The job involves extensive standing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, and crouching. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Ability to communicate clearly and participate in physical and play-based therapies.

Locations

Denver Behavior Therapists work in Arvada, Aurora, Broomfield, Centennial, Denver, Englewood, Glendale, Littleton, Lone Tree, Parker, Thornton, Wheat Ridge, Westminster, and surrounding areas. Behavior Therapists may commute approximately 45 minutes from their preferred location.
