Job summary

Applied ABC seeks a motivated Behavior Technician to deliver one-to-one ABA therapy to children with autism in the home setting in Poughkeepsie, NY. You will implement individualized intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA and participate in ongoing training and data collection.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of ABA experience and a BA in a related field or are pursuing related coursework.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum of ABA experience.
• BA in related field or pursuing relevant coursework.
• Ability to work in-home with children and families.
• Weekday afternoon/evening hours with some weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Implement unique, one-to-one behavioral intervention plans.
• Participate in continued staff training on ABA techniques.
• Regular communication with supervisory staff.
• Operate under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Weekday and weekend availability for home visits.
• Collect therapy session data to track progress.

What We're Looking For

A Behavior Technician (BT) with the capability to work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This therapist's role takes place directly in the homes of children with autism.

About The Position

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY

Schedule

Cases available in the afternoon, from 3-8pm Monday to Friday and some weekends (Home Service).
