Job summary

BK Behavior is seeking a part-time paraeducator to support children with Autism in ABA sessions, either in homes or community locations.You will work closely with the clinical team to implement skill-building plans and collect session data, fostering a supportive learning atmosphere for clients and families.

No prior ABA experience is required as paid training is provided; a 40-hour RBT course may be pursued after hire to strengthen your skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn and passionate about helping children with Autism.
• Patience and calm demeanor in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one ABA services to clients, using evidence‑based interventions supporting independence and positive behavior.
• Serve as an integral member of our clinical team, responsible for the direct implementation of skill‑building and care plans.
• Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment for clients and connect with families.
• Collaborate with families and BCBA Supervisor(s) to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Need To Know

• All positions start off part‑time.
• Required to take the 40‑hour Registered Behavior Technician course.
