Job summary

Heartland-Aba-1 in Kansas seeks an ABA paraprofessional to provide one-on-one ABA services in clients' homes or community locations. No prior ABA experience is required as paid training is provided, with many roles offering afternoon or evening hours and part-time schedules.

You will participate in implementing skill-building plans, record data, and work closely with families and the BCBA team to support positive outcomes for children with Autism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Willingness to learn and make a difference for children with Autism.
• Patience, compassion, and the ability to maintain a calm demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients, supporting independence and positive behavior.
• Implement skill-building and care plans as part of the clinical team.
• Record session data accurately on electronic devices.
• Create a positive learning environment and connect with families.
• Collaborate with families and BCBA Supervisors to improve treatment effectiveness.

Need to Know:

• Required to take the 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician course.
• Looking to hire candidates who are willing to make a 6-month commitment to change our clients lives.
