Job summary

The Arc of San Diego is seeking a passionate Behavioral Specialist to lead the development of behavior strategies and support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

This full-time role involves training staff, implementing Behavioral Support Plans, and working collaboratively with teams to improve outcomes. A Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences and at least 1 year of related experience are required. The position is based on-site with a competitive pay range of $22.00 to $23.00 per hour.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience supporting behavioral plans for individuals with I/DD.
  • Experience with documentation and data tracking.
  • Valid California driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of behavior strategies.
  • Consult on behavioral challenges and review participant progress.
  • Design and monitor Behavioral Support Plans.
