Job summary

CARBON COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT ONE in Rawlins, WY is seeking a Behavior Paraprofessional to support a special education program at Rawlins Elementary School. The role starts immediately with a salary of $19.40 per hour and reports to certified staff.

You will assist in implementing teacher plans across academic, behavioral, and personal areas, maintain confidentiality, communicate effectively with students and staff, and intervene in crisis situations under direction of teachers or administrators.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working with children.
• Assist in implementing teacher's plans for students in all academic/behavioral/personal areas.
• Maintains confidentiality of all information concerning students, staff, parent/guardian.
• Uses positive verbal and non-verbal communication and interaction skills with working with students and staff.
• Intervenes with students at the direction of teacher or administrator in crisis/emergency situations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by certified staff and/or administrator.
