Job summary

Union County Public Schools is seeking a Behavior Technician to support students under direct supervision by contributing to behavior modification strategies that help learners succeed in the classroom.

You will assist instructional staff as a team member in developing and monitoring Behavioral Support Plans (BSP) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), ensuring objectives, goals and plans are clear and measurable.

Qualifications

• Under direct supervision, a Behavior Technician supports positive student contacts to foster suitable behavior changes.
• Collaborates with instructional staff to develop and monitor BSP/BIP objectives and implementation.

Job description

Under direct supervision, A Behavior Technician works to establish positive student contacts that develop appropriate and positive behavior modifications enabling students to succeed. He/she will assist instructional personnel by participating as a team member in the development and monitoring of comprehensive behavioral objectives, goals and plans, including a Behavior Support Plan (BSP) and/or a Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP).
