Job summary

Love 2 Learn Consulting LLC is hiring a Behavior Interventionist to support children with autism in home, school, or clinic settings. You will implement programs designed by a BCBA, and collaborate with families and professionals to help clients reach goals.

The position requires a related bachelor’s degree or current enrollment with relevant experience; CPR/BLS and a CA driver’s license are preferred. Field travel to multiple sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, psychology, nursing or related field.
• Preference for current enrollment in related program; 2+ years experience with autism spectrum disorders or related disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior programs designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in home, school, or clinic settings.
• Demonstrate good judgement and strong verbal/written communication.
• Collaborate with families, staff, and supervisors; work independently when needed.

Behavior Interventionists (BI) implement behavior programs designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. This work takes place in the home, school, or clinic. There are layers of support embedded in the company to ensure that both our clients and our staff realize their potential.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in early childhood education, psychology, nursing or related field,plus one (1) year of related experience with children with autism spectrum disorders and/or other related developmental disabilitiesORcurrently enrolled in an accredited college or university with preference to programs related to early childhood education, psychology, nursing or related field,plus (2) years related experience with children with autism spectrum disorders and/or other related developmental disabilities
• Demonstrate good judgement, decision making, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience working in a team environment and comfortable working independently
• Energetic and positive attitude
• Passion to help children succeed
• Full Immunization Record,which includes2 TB Tests
• CPR (Basic Life Support Specific)
• Valid California Driver’s License and Auto Insurance
• Spanish or Vietnamese a plus!

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This position ispart-time.

Standard hours of work areMonday through Friday,between 8:00 AM to 8:00 PMand Saturday 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

Travel:

This position consists of being in the field. This position consists of being in the field. Frequent travel in assigned region to client to client, client to office and office to client.Cities may include, but not limited to:

• Corona
• Pomona
