Job summary

BK Behavior is seeking dedicated individuals for part-time ABA support roles in homes and community settings in the Kansas City area. The position offers afternoon/evening hours and a pathway into ABA with comprehensive training provided.

No prior ABA experience is required; successful candidates will complete the 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician course and commit to making a positive impact on children's lives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn and passion for helping children with Autism.
• Patience, compassion, and calm demeanor in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients, using evidence-based interventions.
• Serve as an integral member of our clinical team, responsible for the direct implementation of skill-building and care plans.
• Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment for clients and connect with families.
• Collaborate with families and BCBA Supervisor(s) to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Need To Know

• Required to take the 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician course.
