Job summary

Benchmark Human Services in Indiana is seeking a Behavioral Services Professional to document and monitor behavioral supports, assess and train staff, and maintain data for client progress. The role requires leadership in proactive strategies and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

You will attend client meetings and psychiatric appointments, complete functional assessments, and ensure documentation meets billing criteria.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience working as an independent contractor is required.
• Experience as a Behavior Consultant is required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide documentation of the behavioral services provided.
• Provide direct monitoring, assessment, intervention, and staff training including behavioral supports, proactive strategies, triggers, staff interventions, replacement behaviors, etc.
• Maintain billable criteria.
• Maintain system for collecting objective data regarding the skills and needs of clients served.
• Maintain system for collecting program specific information including key data points.
• Complete functional assessments annually and as needed.
• Attend all client specific meetings as directed.
• Attend client psychiatric appointments and inpatient psychiatric discharge meetings.
