Clarvida is hiring a Behavioral Consultant ABA to deliver in-community behavioral health support for youth aged 2–21 in State College, PA. This on-site role involves leading assessments, developing ITAs, and collaborating with families and schools to implement ABA-based plans.

You will supervise, document progress, and coordinate with licensed professionals to ensure treatment goals are met, with emphasis on clinical insight and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Licensure in Pennsylvania as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, social worker, behavior specialist, CRNP or related with oversight of ABA services, and certification as BCBA or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of full-time ABA experience with related training, or a BCaBA or undergraduate-level ABA certification with experience.
• Must have clearances (PA Criminal, Child Abuse, FBI).

About the Role

We’re hiring a Behavioral Consultant ABA to join our Pennsylvania team, providing in-community behavioral health support to clients ages 2–21. As a Behavioral Consultant, you’ll lead assessments, identify target behaviors, and collaborate with families, educators, and other service providers to develop and implement individualized treatment plans (ITPs). This is a direct care and supervisory role that requires strong clinical insight, excellent documentation skills, and a passion for empowering youth.

Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral assessments and observe clients to identify target behaviors
• Develop and monitor Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs) with input from families and providers
• Implement ABA-aligned strategies and interventions prescribed by a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist
• Collaborate with families, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to support client progress
• Provide clinical oversight, documentation, and regular updates in line with treatment goals

Behavioral Consultant- Applied Behavior Analysis (BC-ABA):

• Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social work, social worker, behavior specialist, certified registered nurse practitioner or a professional with a scope of practice that includes overseeing the provision of ABA services and have a certification as a BCBA or other graduate-level certification in behavior analysis.
• Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social work, social worker, behavior specialist, certified registered nurse practitioner or a professional with a scope of practice that includes overseeing the provision of ABA services and have one of the following:
  • A certification as a BCaBA or other undergraduate-level certification.
  • A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services and a minimum of 12 credits in ABA from a college or university.
  • A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services under the supervision of a professional with a certification as a BCBA or other graduate-level certification in behavior analysis and a minimum of 40 hours of training related to ABA.
  • Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a psychologist and have a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services and a minimum of 40 hours of training related to ABA.
• Ability to pass PA Criminal, Child Abuse, and FBI Clearances.

Preferred Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience in behavioral health
