Job summary

SSYAF & Sutter Health's School Based Mental Health is seeking a qualified professional to provide behavioral health services within the county Children’s Mental Health System of Care framework. The role requires graduate education or substantial practical experience, with preference for Spanish speaking candidates.

Qualifications

• Master's degree plus at least 2 years approved experience, OR Bachelor's degree with 4 years approved experience, OR Associate's degree with 6 years approved experience.
• Graduate education may be substituted for the experience on a year for year basis.
• Spanish Speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Writes clear, accurate, and timely progress notes.
• Participates in development of individualized family plans with TBS team.
• Attends weekly staff meetings, consultation, and case management meetings.
• Manages time effectively.
• Develops and maintains positive relationships with agency and community programs.
• Utilizes resources to implement behavior interventions and strategies.
• Forms positive relationships with children and their families.
• Identifies strengths, skills, and positive qualities in children and families.
• Observes and evaluates behavior and completes a Functional Behavioral Analysis.
• Uses Functional Behavioral Analysis to implement change programming.
• Maintains accurate and timely records and follows agency policies.
