codeCampus is hiring a Floater/Lead Teacher in the Lynwood area to join our after-school STEAM programs for grades K–8. You will work with site staff, assist Lead Instructors, and substitute as needed in a fast-paced classroom setting.

Training is paid, and you will start immediately with commitments for the 2026-2027 school year. Classes run five days a week from early morning hours, requiring reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

About the role

codeCampus is seeking to hire and train a Floater/Lead Teacher for our programs in the Lynwood area. As a Floater/Lead Teacher for codeCampus, you will:

• Work with site staff at our after school programs throughout Lynwood
• Assist Lead Instructors with teaching STEAM lessons for students in their classrooms using our proprietary curriculum
• Substitute for Lead Instructors in the area as necessary
• Teach students in grades K - 8
• Classes run 5 days/week

About you

This role is great for early‑career educators and seasoned educators alike. Candidates for this position must possess the following qualifications:

• Available to start training immediately (paid), and to start working immediately
• Availability to work for the entire 2026-2027 school year
• Available 5 days a week from approximately 6:00AM - 9:00AM
• Experience teaching and managing large groups of youth in an academic setting
• Exceptional communication skills
• Access to reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and car insurance in your name
• Willing to go through our professional development training program

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $28.00/hour depending on experience with a guaranteed minimum hours per week*, plus commuter benefits, with opportunities for pay raises based on performance and time with the company.
