AlphaBEST Education, Inc in Rancho Romero seeks an exceptional After-school Program Director to lead a passionate team and deliver engaging, high-quality care for children.

The role emphasizes nurturing curiosity, building strong student relationships with families and schools, and creating a welcoming, adventurous program. Schedule is Mon-Fri, 8 am–6 pm, with hours based on attendance.

Qualifications

• A degree in child development, 3 units in Administration, and 2 years of teaching experience.
• A BA degree in child development, 3 units in Administration, and 1 year of teaching experience.
• Child Development Site Supervisor Permit or Program Director Permit.

Responsibilities

• Lead a fun and dedicated team of professionals to deliver high quality care, learning, and excitement to our children.
• Train AlphaBEST staff on how to nurture children and ignite their sense of wonder.
• Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, parent, and school relationships are fostered.

Before and After-school Program Director -Full-Time - Rancho Romero

Pay: $30+/per hour (based on education and experience)

We are currently looking for a visionary Program Director to join our team and help shape the future of our innovative program. We are looking for a leader passionate about fostering innovation, cultivating curiosity, and creating an atmosphere of adventure and belonging.

Schedule: Must be available Monday - Friday, 8 am - 6 pm (Work schedule and hours are based on attendance) No weekends!

• A degree in child development, 3 units in Administration, and 2 years of teaching experience.
• A BA degree in child development, 3 units in Administration, and 1 year of teaching experience.
• Child Development Site Supervisor Permit or Program Director Permit.

Option 1:

• 24 semester units in child development, recreation, or a related field.
• 6 semester units in administration and supervision.
• 2 years of experience working with school-age children in a group setting.

Option 2:

• A bachelor's degree in child development, recreation, or a related field.
• 3 semester units in administration and supervision.
• 1 year of experience working with school-age children in a group setting.

Option 3:

• A School-Age Site Supervisor Permit or Program Director Permit.
