You will operate the register, bag items, and maintain accurate transactions with proper cash handling and security. The role includes stocking, merchandising, and maintaining department cleanliness and compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Completed high school or equivalent (GED).
• 21+ years old to work in Beer and Wine Cafe.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers, discusses customer needs, makes suggestions, and resolves concerns promptly in a polite, professional manner.
• Operates scanning equipment and cash register, bagging merchandise and scanning items at checkout.
• Ensures accurate transactions, handles cash with security, and adheres to cash drawer procedures.
• Follows guidelines for sale of alcohol and other products.
• May assist with receiving, unloading, stocking, and displaying merchandise, with training provided.
• Maintains sanitation and cleanliness of the department; upholds health and OSHA requirements.
• Reviews orders and minimizes losses by inspecting deliveries and managing stock.
