Job summary

UnitedUnited in Savannah, GA is seeking a Beer Quality Control associate to inspect beer pallets for accuracy, correct discrepancies, and report variances to the Area Manager. The role supports inventory control, shipping/receiving and returns, while keeping the warehouse safe, clean and secure in a non‑temperature controlled environment.

Must be 18+ with basic math and recordkeeping skills; forklift/pallet jack experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Six months of experience in a similar position strongly preferred.
• Experience operating an electric pallet jack, forklift, and other power equipment preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Able to work in a non-temperature controlled environment with heat, humidity, and inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Check beer pallets for inaccuracy and make necessary corrections.
• Ensure all loads are properly stacked, secured, and stable.
• Keep records to track in-house errors and monitor picker accuracy.
• Submit a daily power equipment checklist to the appropriate manager.
• Report safety or mechanical problems with power equipment in writing.
• Operate all equipment safely and efficiently.
• Conduct operations and maintain the facility in a neat, clean, safe manner.
• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
