Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a friendly Beer Den/Wine Clerk to help guests select beer and wine, educate on products, and maintain an inviting tasting area.

You will ensure attractive displays, comply with ALE laws, assist with growlers, manage inventory, and support in-store demos while delivering excellent guest service.

This role requires 21+ years old and physical ability; join a team-focused environment at Mooresville, NC.

Qualifications

• Beer and wine knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Educate guests on beer and wine attributes and guide their needs.
• Ensure marketing materials, signage, prices, and flyers are displayed and maintained.
• Maintain sanitation and appearance of Beer Den/Sunmill Wines.
• Collaborate with category managers and suppliers on pricing and selection.
• Train other Beer Den/Wine clerks and share information with hosts.
• Conduct tastings and assist with in-store demos or promotions.
• Follow state laws governing sampling, sale, and purchasing of beer and wine.
• Wash and prepare growlers per established practices.
• Fill growlers upon guest request per filling/sealing/labeling standards.
• Maintain inventory of growlers, glassware, lids and other supplies.
• Announce specials and sale information over the PA system.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

10. 10. Maintain inventory of growlers, glass, lids and all other Beer Den and wine supplies through monitoring and ordering.
11. 11. Announce specials and sale information on the PA system.
12. 12. Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
