Job summary

The GIANT Company in Parkesburg, PA is seeking a Store Associate to help receive, stock, and display products, ensure dates are checked, and support loss prevention.

You will assist customers at the register, follow alcohol purchasing rules, and work in a team to maintain clean, organized aisles and shelves. Flexible, minimum 4-hour shifts may be available, with opportunities to grow within the store.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must meet the company performance standards for the job including but not limited to regular attendance.
• Must be of minimum age as required by state Liquor code.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift, prepare by checking equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements.
• Complete orders, receive, store, stock items, check dates, and track items going out of code.
• Set up and stock end caps and displays, set up new program displays, and perform resets.
• Cut or flatten cardboard cartons, load onto trolleys, and transport to the bailer.
• Handle customer transactions and purchases at the register, validate ID, and follow state alcohol purchase limits.
