Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a friendly Meat & Seafood Clerk to provide excellent guest service in the meat and seafood department. You will use selling skills and merchandising programs to engage guests and help achieve maximum sales.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, preparing knife-ready products, receiving and stocking, pricing and rotating items, maintaining safety and sanitation, ensuring freshness, reporting shrink, communicating guest requests, and making PA announcements for

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal skills and effective selling skills.
• Ability to work well with others and interact with guests.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs constantly.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in a cold environment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides polite, friendly greetings and interactions with guests in the meat/seafood area.
• Prepares knife-ready products for sale (cut, slice, trim, wrap, weigh, and price).
• Assists in product receiving, inventory, and storage.
• Prices, stocks, and rotates frozen items, prepared meats, and fresh meat/seafood in sales areas.
• Maintains safety and sanitation standards in all meat/seafood areas and prep zones.
• Maintains high quality and freshness of products and ensures date codes.
• Communicates shrink issues to management and guest requests to management.
• Makes PA announcements for sales and promotions in the meat/seafood department.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
